Spring is on the way!

Today I checked up on our Reptile survey tins, sadly 3 have gone absent without leave over the winter, perhaps they have migrated? so I will need to replace them and hopefully this year will bring more slowworm records,

This morning I scattered 1600 seedballs around areas of the park, each one containing a mix of native wild flower seeds specifically to encourage Bees & Butterflies.

Also managed to spot palmate newts in both the ponds in the country park, sadly no sign of any frogspawn.
